Vission, Mission and Aim

INTRODUCTION

V.K. Chavan-Patil Arts, Commerce and Science Collage is established 14 July 2009. It is run by Sharadha Shikshan Prasarak Mandal.  The college is located rural and hilly area of Chandgad tahsil Kolhapur district of Maharashtra state. At present the college provides the degree programs in BA, B.Com and B.Sc. education to the nearby villages of Chandgad tahsil as well as Karnataka-Maharashtra border area student. The college is affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur. It is non-grant Basics College. The motto of our parent institution is “Dnyanmay Sagaratun Gagan Bharari”. According to this motto the college is run to welfare of economically and socially disadvantage section of the society. Our college has got 2 Maharashtra Naval Unit NCC recognition in January 2021. Currently Naval NCC 54 cadets for first year and second year. Army NCC was recognition under 5 Maharashtra Battalion on December 2021. There are 27 cadets for first year Army NCC. The college has a National Service Scheme Unit with 100 volunteers. The college itself has a remarkable career in Kabbadi and athletics sports. From 2009 to till today, the college is showing a rising graph in academic and various activities.

• The motto of our parent institution is “Dnyanmay Sagaratun Gagan Bharari”. According to this the vision of college is to provide quality higher education economically and socially disadvantage section of the society.
• To educate the students from rural and hilly areas and make them globally competent.

Mission

• To motivate the socially and economically disadvantaged students from rural area to acquire educational excellence, leadership and enable them to become good global citizens.
• To inculcate scientific and democratic attitude among the students through value education and social as well as environmental awareness.
• The mission of our institution is to provide value based and career oriented education to the economically poor and needy people in rural and hilly area for their social enlightenment intellectual development

7. To prepare our students to face challenges of the competitive world by enhancing their talents and skills.
